Anson Williams
Executive Producer
Whilst training, Anson developed a keen interest in Stage Management and technical theatre, and has worked on a variety of shows both professionally and in training. Some of Anson's credits include Pride in London Parade 2017, Pride's Got Talent Final 2017 (Charing Cross Theatre), RWR to Punts and Top Trumps (Theatre 503), Mystery at the Museum (National Maritime Museum), 5 Guy’s Chillin’ (The Kings Head), Not Now Darling, Avenue Q and Rent (Drama St Mary’s). Anson has a desire to share stories about topics that other theatre seems afraid to talk about.
Niall Kiely
Artistic Director
Developing on his already keen interest as an actor, Niall Kiely began developing his love of the industry once training at Drama St Mary’s. His passion for theatre has led to a desire to create work and thus brought about the birth of Bearded Dog Theatre Company. As well as creating work, Niall has a wide range of performance experience, being involved in a variety of styles of theatre. Some of the shows Niall has appeared in include; Bassett, Macbeth (Drama St Mary’s), Peter Pan and Avenue Q (St Mary’s Drama Society), and Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast (Beacon Community College). Niall is thrilled to see Bearded Dog's work grow.
WHO ARE WE?
Bearded Dog is a theatre company formed by partners Niall Kiely and Anson Williams. The pair met whilst training at St Mary's University, Twickenham, with Niall training as an actor and performer, and Anson training in stage and production management.

Bearded Dog is named after Niall’s childhood dog Caffrey, who was a Bearded Collie. Niall noticed that everyone seems to tell their dogs anything, and people are willing to share with them their inner most fears and secrets. Bearded Dog Theatre aspires to discuss these openly and proudly, without fear of judgement or pressure. Sadly, Caffrey passed away peacefully in 2016 and we dedicate our work to his memory.

Together with Niall's artistic flare and Anson's organisational skills, they hope that Bearded Dog will continue to grow and flourish into something truly inspiring.
